Big Changes Coming...

We’ve got an exciting problem—we’re growing!

God has blessed FBC Stanton with growth, and we are so thankful for the privilege of welcoming more people into our church family. As we continue to grow in number, we also want to grow deeper in our faith and discipleship.

To help us better care for and disciple every generation, we’re making a few exciting changes beginning this fall. Please see the changes below:

Sunday Morning Schedule Changes

Beginning this fall, we’ll be making a few adjustments to our Sunday morning schedule to create extra time for fellowship and allow for a more comfortable pace throughout the morning.

Sunday School will now begin at 9:30 a.m. instead of 9:45 a.m. Classes are invited to bring their usual breakfast items to the Welcome Center by 9:00 a.m., where all Sunday School classes will enjoy breakfast and fellowship together before heading to their individual classes. Our Children and Youth will also begin Sunday School at 9:30 a.m.
Our morning worship service time will now begin at 10:45 a.m. instead of 11:00 a.m. This adjustment gives us a little more flexibility throughout the morning, allowing us to worship, pray, and respond to the Holy Spirit's prompting without feeling rushed.

We look forward to these changes and the added opportunities to connect each Sunday morning!

Wednesday Night Schedule Changes

Another time change this fall is the new Wednesday night schedule designed to serve our church family and volunteers.

Our church-wide fellowship dinner will be served from 5:30–6:30 PM. Then, at 7:00 PM, everyone will begin their evening connect groups. This unified schedule allows children, students, and adults to participate in discipleship together, making it easier for families to arrive, learn, and finish their evening on the same schedule.

6th Grade Transition

With this new school year, 6th-grade students will officially become part of our Youth Ministry. As students continue to grow and transition into middle school, we believe this change provides an age-appropriate environment where they can build friendships, deepen their faith, and navigate this exciting new stage of life together.

Our Children’s Ministry will now serve 1st–5th grade, while our Youth Ministry will welcome 6th–12th grade. This aligns each ministry with students’ current school grade, creating a smoother transition and helping every student connect with peers in the same season of life.

We are excited to welcome our newest youth students and look forward to partnering with families as they take this next step!

Youth Ministry Expansion

As our Youth Ministry continues to grow, with the addition of 6th grade, we’re excited to introduce a new schedule that allows better discipling for students in each stage of life. Middle School (6th–8th Grade) will continue meeting on Wednesday evenings with Albert, just as they have in the past.

High School (9th–12th Grade) will now gather on Sunday evenings for a youth experience designed specifically for high school students. This provides an opportunity for teaching, discussion, and community that is tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities of the high school years.

We also encourage our high school students to stay involved on Wednesday evenings by serving throughout the church in areas such as Kids Connect, preschool, hospitality, worship, media, and more. This allows them to invest in younger students while remaining an important part of what God is doing across our church family. *More information to come

We’re excited to see how this new format helps every student build meaningful relationships, grow in their faith, and take the next step in following Christ.
